Licking County
, with over 15 golf courses,
is recognized as a great place for the avid golfer. In 2002, Licking County's
golfing resources received national attention in an article published in U.S.News
& World Report:

Slice of Ohio.
In
addition to its many fine golf courses, Licking County is also home to several
golf club component manufacturers, including
Dynacraft, GolfWorks,
Toski Golf and Aztec Golf. In fact, according to a 1996 article in the Columbus
Dispatch, Newark is the "golf club capital of Ohio." You can read more
